Hosts of the 605 Podcast highlighted the importance of hand washing and Influenza Vaccination Week during the December 11, 2023, video session. Jess Danko, MSHA, RRT, LTC-CIP, program director, and Rebecca Sime, RN, represented the Project Firstline team and used pepper to demonstrate how soap repels germs during hand washing. While the podcast is a fun environment, the show addressed the serious topic of infection prevention and vaccination to prevent illness.
